Tony Sindoni

Following graduation from the United States Naval Academy in 1987, where he played sprint football for four years, Tony became a Surface Warfare Officer.  During his eight years in the Navy, he served on USS Underwood as a Damage Control Assistant and Weapons Officer.  He made one Persian Gulf deployment and several trips in support of counter-narcotic operations in the Caribbean.  After his sea-duty tour ended, he spent two years on staff duty in Mayport, FL.  Tony’s last assignment was serving as the Director of Training at the Naval Damage Control Training Center in Philadelphia.

Tony’s first employment outside of the military came as a Territory Manager with Pepsi Cola North America in Harrisburg, PA. After three successful years with Pepsi, he took a General Manager position with Corporate Express Delivery Systems to run their Philadelphia operation.  They quickly grew from one facility to nine, encompassing New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware.  After serving in the capacity of District General Manager, he was promoted to Director of Logistics for the United States and then to Vice President of National Accounts and Logistics.  Eventually he became the youngest Executive Officer of the company as the company changed ownership and became Velocity Express.

Tony got into the recruiting business in 2002.  He spent three years working with a contingency recruiting firm in Philadelphia.  After three years in Philly, he opened up Advance Career Technology.  Over the last twelve years, he has focused efforts on working with transitioning military officers.  Today, there are thousands of people throughout the country who we have helped to guide through rough spots in their transitions and careers.

Tony grew up and currently resides in South Jersey.   He is married to Laraine, an elementary school music teacher.  His oldest daughter is a National Mathematics Consultant for Big Ideas Learning.  His son is a cross-dock manager with Fresh Direct in Washington, D.C..  Tony’s youngest daughter is an accomplished dancer and will be entering her senior year of college at Marymount Manhattan College in New York City.
